Ground Beef

The meat in each ground beef package will come from one specific animal, unlike a grocery store ground beef package, which can contain meat from hundreds of animals. Ours is generally 80% lean and comes packed in a Chub a little over 1 lb, or sometimes vacuum packed in 1 lb rectangles. .
Our cow share customers frequently specify fat percentage when ordering a Cow Share and if the beef can do it then processor will make the fat percentage requested. Sometimes we will have leaner ground beef retail.
